Sheshnag and Sonsar Lakes are two mesmerizingly beautiful lakes in Jammu and Kashmir perched at an altitude of 3590 metres, that awaits to embrace you with its enchanting environs. Because of its presence on the route to holy Amarnath Cave, Sheshnag Lake is also a sacred pilgrimage site. The trek starts from chandanwari which can be easily reached by personal car or taxi. This trek can be done in a short time, and completely customizable.
