HARNAG LAKE

Harnag is a high altitude lake located in the upper reaches of Sindh valley. The lake lies at an altitude of nearly 3720m. The ascent to the lake is a gradual terrain which starts from Aru Valley. Trekkers stay overnight at Arimiun Valley, a mesmerising campsite, before crossing the Harnag pass to overlook the lake. (3 Nights / 4 days)

SESHNAG AND SONSAR LAKE TREK

Sheshnag and Sonsar Lakes are two mesmerizingly beautiful lakes in Jammu and Kashmir perched at an altitude of 3590 metres, that awaits to embrace you with its enchanting environs. Because of its presence on the route to holy Amarnath Cave, Sheshnag Lake is also a sacred pilgrimage site. KOLOHAI GLACIER TREK

The Kolahoi Glacier trek can be described as the trek of a lifetime. The trek route traverses through a terrain filled with tall trees, meadows decked with flower beds, and pristine high-altitude lakes that have snow-capped peaks as their backdrop. MARGAN TOP- TCHORNAG LAKE TREK

The name TchorNag is an amalgam of two Kashmir words – Tchor means four and Nag spring. So the name is actually given to a collection of four lakes situated deep into the mountain range at an altitude of about 14500 feet above sea level. At a trekking distance of about two hours from the lake is Margan valley or Margan top, which is another spot of breathtaking beauty. (1 Night / 2 Days)

A certified Trek Leader (JK Tourism)/Tourist Guide, Tariq is the main contact point of the Paradise team. As the Chief Organizer of the group, he is responsible for planning and customizing tour itineraries, customer interactions, tour planning etc. Tariq is a well-known and respected expert in the field for leading difficult treks. He has excellent organization and communication skills and capability to think on his feet.

Roauf Ahmad Ganie

Trek Leader

Rouf is a well-educated and very knowledgeable guide, having a good experience in dealing with domestic and international clients. He has done 'Adventure Travel Escorts Training' from "Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports (JIM&WS)", Pahalgam. Roauf has amazing communication skill and a great sense of humour that makes any trip a happy and enjoyable one. Our clients often tag him as the charming and funny tour guide.

Ishfaq AKA Micheal has been successfully leading trekking & tours in the Pahalgam area of kashmir from 2015. He is an amazing trek leader having extensive knowledge and experience about the flora, fauna, and inhabitants of the area and has taken part in various successful treks organized by Paradise. He is a certified and well trained guide, who took his official training in guiding course organized by Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department.

Aijaz Ahmad Lone

Aijaz is a key member of the Paradise team. He is a well-educated, English speaking tour guide, certified by Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department. He is working as a tour guide since 2000, and lead hundreds of treks in and around Pahalgam. He has extensive knowledge and experience of working with both domestic and international guests of Paradise for more than 20 years. Aijaz is a soft-spoken and hard-working person who is very popular with our clients.

Irshad has been a key member of the Paradise Team for many years now. Irshad has a warm personality and is a highly motivated guide. He plays a major role in the trek team in organizing and managing day-to-day activities. He is very caring and helpful towards our clients especially while crossing difficult terrains and passes. He's helped clients make it through hard circumstances, and has a wealth of experience as a tour guide.

We are proud of our chef(s) Ghulam (and Khursheed), who have worked as chefs in the hotels in Pahalgam for a long time. They are now part of our team, and are responsible for making sure that your culinary needs are met during your stay with us and during the treks. They've worked on high altitude treks, and their cooking is one of the highlights on those treks. They've received excellent reviews by clients for their amazing cooking skills on high altitude treks.

Khursheed, our other main chef, also has worked as a professional chef in the hotels in Pahalgam for over 10 years. Rehman has led Hundreds of treks in Himalayas in 1980's as a trek leader. “We went to KGL with Paradise on the second week of July, 2022. KGL trek route is really a paradise on earth, and Paradise travels really lived upto its name. We have teaveled with other trek facilitating companies before and had a clear idea of what to expect, but Paradise exceeded all expectations. It would be very difficult to write anything befitting the amazing experience we had in KGL trek with Paradise Adventures, because I do not have enough words to express my feelings. We got the reference of Paradise and Tariq from Tripadvisor, and contacted him immediately. Tariq sounded very warm, sweet, confident and dependable even over phone and we almost confirmed the trip on the first day itself, and never felt the need to talk to any other agencies. Just one month before the planned travel date, we both were down with Covid. Tariq was with us always, he kept in constant touch and we discussed different options, and finally settled with KGL, with a lot of apprehension regarding our fitness. But once we reached Sonmarg and met Tariq (and Raouf the next day) all our tensions were gone, and somehow we felt that this trip is going to be special. Both Tariq and Raouf were around my son's age so I felt a very motherly affection towards them from the very beginning. They are amazing people to say the least, and experts at what they do, and more. They treated us with amazing care and personal touch, starting from arranging for special food, hot water bags, camp chairs and tables, comfortable tents and what not. Kashmir Great Lake Trek with Tariq & Rouff.. It was a awesome experience to have this trek with Pardise Adventure.. specilly Tariq & Rouff as a trek leaders. They have amazing character, attitude... calm, attentive, excellent organizer & very good sense of humor. This has added a personal touch to our trek. The Paradise Adventure that conducted this trek for us was exceptional. The trip was surreal for us as we were there during peak time. Though the trek was definitely not easy and was quite challenging, the folks ensured a super pleasant experience for us and provided us with support wherever needed. How do I book a tour if I want to customize the itinerary?

It is simple. First you select your base tour from our list of destinations, and then call/write to us to customize the trip to suit your convenience.

Is it safe to travel to Kashmir?

Yes, travelling to Kashmir is ABSOLUTELY safe.

Do I need special permission while travelling to Kashmir?

Travelling to some parts of Ladakh that lie close to the borders of China and Tibet do require a permit. For the other places, we will send you a list of documents that are usually needed, e.g. copy of photo ID, passport, etc. These requirements vary from case to case.

Are there internet facilities? What about Social Media?

The internet ban is lifted in Kashmir, but, with certain terms and conditions. Internet services have resumed on postpaid mobiles only across 12 districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ban on social media sites however remains intact.
